Recently, there was a very fun article published Laura Geggel about T Rex Skeletons that had no lips. I found this article to be so interesting and fun. There is actually a branch of T-Rex that does not have any lips! This specific sub-species or branch of T-Rex has a mouth/ snout like that of a crocodile or alligator. The branch in the family tree makes me wonder about the relationship between the dinosaurs and modern day animals. I remember a while back watching a documentary on The History Channel describing how the closest related animal to the dinosaurs were birds. But I do not understand how this could be with the striking similarities between the T-Rex skeleton and the crocodilian species. These two sources have conflicting information and I would like to know which one contains less true information.
